I decided to try spraying the whole lid too, just to see what would happen, then I wiped the excess off.I kind of expected it to make the paint bubble up and peel off, but all it did was make it so the paint was now set and I could pick up my lid and use it as if it had been drying in the hot sun for 30 minutes!.

Try it out the next time you spray paint something!.

Just spray your paint, wait a moment, spray your polish and wipe it off!.That really maximized the openness of the ceiling and kind of gives the feeling of individual pieces of furniture in the room.

I love this look for a kitchen because it’s both an updated look and also totally appropriate for an old farmhouse like ours..This was a pretty simple job overall, but one with a really big impact.
